Tourism raises the wages of workers in its hotels ten thousand lire cut per worker

Pursuant to the provisions of Decree No. 23 of 2019 issued by President Bashar al-Assad to increase salaries.
 
Minister of Tourism Mohamed Rami Radwan Martini issued a circular to the management of hotels belonging to the Ministry to include the living allowance granted to workers for basic salaries and wages as part of it in addition to raise the minimum for all workers to 47675 pounds, as of 1/12/2019.
 
The circular also stated that following the example of Mr. President, the contract workers under unlimited contracts were granted a net increase of 10,000 liras, excluding all deductions due from the worker.
 
The head of the Syndicate of Services and Tourism Workers in Damascus, Abdullah Makhlouf, said that the circular of the Minister of Tourism includes workers under Decree No. 17 of the Private Sector Workers Law, which regulates the nature of their work. The increase includes workers in the following tourist establishments: Aleppo Shahba facility, which belongs to the Ministry of Tourism.
 
Makhlouf pointed out that this increase - ten thousand pounds - is fully paid by the worker after adding it to his basic salary, which contributes to improve the living situation of workers, in addition to it is an incentive for workers to redouble efforts and increase production capacity and reflected positively on increasing the revenues of these establishments.
 
The President of the Syndicate of Services and Tourism Workers in Damascus said that the Syndicate is in the process of touring all public and private tourism establishments with the aim of attributing the largest number of workers to the Syndicate office for the benefit of the Syndicate and these workers through increasing revenues of social assistance funds that provide multiple services for workers. Especially in the health field.
 
These increases will motivate workers in the facilities, which is reflected in their work and sincerity in the service of visitors and tourists .. Especially after the return of activity to the tourism sector after being subjected to many damages.
