The ship, which was supposed to dock at the port of Tripoli in northern Lebanon, changed its course to go to the port of Beirut after days of taking and responding about the health of its crew.

She said that she had contacted the ship's crew and it was clear that he was not suffering from any symptoms at the present time, confirming that the quarantine team of the Ministry of Public Health would undertake the required procedures.
A statement was issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Works on Sunday, in which it referred to the decision not to receive the vessel at the Beirut and Tripoli Port until the confirmation of its safety by the competent health authorities.
Politicians stressed the need to reveal the crew of the ship before allowing it to enter the Lebanese ports.
The protesters in Tripoli saw that the ship threatens the security of the country, and demanded that it not be allowed to enter Lebanon, and stressed the appointment of a medical committee from the Lebanese army to conduct the necessary checks on the ship and its crew, to ensure their safety.
After giving permission to enter the port of Beirut and ensuring the safety of its crew, the ship is expected to dock at the port of Tripoli, on Wednesday, to unload its cargo, and then leave for Europe.
According to information, the container ship was launched from a Chinese port on January 15, and it was examined by a medical team of an international institution, and arrived in Singapore on January 20, and then to Port Said in Egypt before its arrival in Lebanon.
According to experts, the ship left China 28 days ago at a time when research says that the incubation period of the Corona Virus does not exceed 14 days, which means that it has exceeded the duration of the disease on the crew.
According to press reports, "the container ship belonging to the French shipping line coming from the Chinese ports is free of Corona virus after undergoing a medical examination in Port Said."
