Al-Ali: Syrian-Emirati Investment Forum Paves the Way for Syria's Return to the Arab Investment Map
The President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Alaa Al-Ali, stated:
"The Syrian-Emirati Investment Forum was not merely a passing economic meeting. Rather, it sent a clear message that Syria is reclaiming its presence on the Arab investment map, and that the bridges of cooperation with Syrian businessmen abroad have become stronger and more influential."
Al-Ali emphasized that Syrian businessmen in the UAE have successfully built advanced experiences and specialized expertise over the past years in the fields of trade, investment, and business management. He pointed out that the upcoming phase requires utilizing these capabilities and expertise to support the Syrian economy and accelerate the path of recovery and reconstruction.
He added that holding the forum in Damascus reflects a growing shift in the level of Arab openness toward Syria. Furthermore, it establishes long-term economic partnerships based on mutual interests, paving the way for Syria's gradual return to its Arab economic depth
