Arab Businessmen Forum in China seeks to find foothold for Arab products in Chinese markets

The Arab Businessmen Forum in China is working to strengthen the historical relations between the People's Republic of China and the Arab world, taking advantage of the facilities and opportunities resulting from the Belt and Road Initiative, launched by the Chinese president in 2013.
 
The forum, which was established by a group of Arab businessmen working in China in 2013 in the Chinese business city of Guangzhou, aims to strengthen trade ties between members, to develop their business, and to develop the spirit of cooperation and coordination among members to find forms of cooperation and business partnerships.
 
Among the steps taken by Chairman of the Forum Chairman Arafat Al-Harasha, Business2Business received a copy of it, participating in various import exhibitions into China, making awareness programs, and direct contact with the Chinese market to facilitate the flow of Arab goods in these vast markets, and transferring the successful Chinese administrative experience. Transfer of technology and consolidation of relations with the official Arab and Chinese authorities, and the development of a comprehensive media platform in various traditional and non-traditional channels to provide all members and partners access to economic information on the go.
 
The Syrian-based businessman and head of the Public Relations Committee, Mohammed Al-Kholi, told Business 2 Business that the forum was recognized by the Arab League at its official opening, and was also welcomed by China, and is offering benefits to the Arab world, pointing out that it enjoys more flexibility than official government channels.
 
Al-Kholi pointed out that the forum includes 160 members from all Arab countries, and held many events and commercial activities, and provides facilities for businessmen.
 
He pointed out the work to open the permanent exhibition of Arab products in the city of Yiwu, China, in order to find a foothold for Arab products in Chinese markets, and the Forum will promote them at an administrative cost, pointing to the existence of a free market area to help re-export to neighboring countries, and to sell on platforms Electronic from the free zone directly.
