Boosting Economic Cooperation: Mersin Chamber of Commerce Delegation Visits Lattakia to Activate Twin-City Agreement
Within the framework of strengthening economic and trade cooperation, the Lattakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry received a delegation from the Turkish Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was attended by the Assistant Governor of Lattakia, Mr. Mohammad Hasnou, along with several merchants and industrialists from both sides.
This visit follows the signing of a twin-city agreement between the Lattakia Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry last year. The agreement aims to bolster economic relations and open new horizons for commercial and investment cooperation between the two cities.
During the meeting, both parties discussed the current status of commercial and industrial activities, the challenges facing the business sector, and explored opportunities for cooperation, investment, and expanding joint operations.
The Mersin Chamber delegation emphasized the importance of developing trade and investment relations with Lattakia. They expressed their readiness to support economic cooperation steps, contributing to the revitalization of commercial and industrial activities in the upcoming phase.
