Sham Bank opens a branch in Homs

In the presence of Dr. Mohammad Hamra, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, Dr. Nasser Sheikh Fattouh, President of the Homs Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Bouti, His Excellency Sheikh Zuhair Al-Atassi, Mufti of Homs, Dr. Ahmed Hassan, Chairman of the Shari'a Supervisory Board of Sham Bank, and a constellation of businessmen Homs, and a group of leaders of Sham Bank, headed by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ahmed Yousef Al-Lahham; Sham Bank opened its new branch in Corniche Street, near the Directorate of Education in downtown Homs, on Thursday, 31/10/2019.
 
The new branch offers a full range of banking products such as: financing for individuals and companies, as well as banking services such as withdrawals, deposits, sending and receiving remittances, and ATM services around the clock, where Sham Bank is keen to strengthen its presence in all Syrian governorates and vital urban and commercial areas.
 
The Bank's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ahmed Al-Laham, stressed the importance of geographical expansion and the bank's keenness to be close to the growing base of customers and access to them and facilitate their access to banking services and products that meet their needs.
 
In a statement, Dr. Hamra stressed that the renewal of Al-Sham Bank's presence in Homs Governorate is a positive indicator for the safety and growth of the banking sector. Dr. Hamra also stressed that the Central Bank of Syria supports and encourages the geographical expansion of Sham Bank and all banks operating in Syria, noting that Homs currently has 11 banking branches, and the Central Bank of Syria aspires to increase the number to 18 branches in the province.
 
As part of the opening program of the new branch in Homs, Mr. Ahmed Yousef Al-Lahham invited all attendees to a luncheon at the Safir Hotel in Homs, honoring 160 social and economic figures and dignitaries of Homs.
 
Sham Bank now has a wide range of branches in Damascus, Rif Damascus, Daraa, Homs, Hama, Aleppo, Lattakia and Tartous.This expansion follows the Bank's strategy of geographical expansion and the provision of banking services to all customers and customers to meet their needs and aspirations. The Sham Bank team in Homs welcomes its customers daily from Sunday to Thursday, from 09:15 to 15:30.
