The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce participated in the opening ceremony of the 21st edition of the Arab International Exhibition for Food Industries and Packaging, "Food Expo 2026". The exhibition was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Nidal Al-Shaar, at the Damascus Exhibition City. The Federation was represented by Dr. Anas Al-Bou, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee and Board Member, alongside Mr. Firas Al-Shammas, Chairman of the Conferences and Exhibitions Committee.The attendees toured the pavilions of the exhibition, which features more than 300 local, Arab, and international companies. The event aims to promote Syrian food products, boost export values, explore new trade and investment opportunities, and strengthen partnerships between local and international businesses. Ultimately, these efforts seek to develop production capabilities and generate new job opportunities within the sector
