Hama Industry Director & Chamber of Industry Seek to Empower Women Entrepreneurs, Integrating Vocational Training with the Job Market
In a meeting that brought together the Businesswomen’s Committee of the Hama Chamber of Industry with the Director of Industry, Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Hassan, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Khaled, Vice Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Mr. Al-Hassan played a prominent and pivotal role.
He provided a comprehensive and detailed explanation of the requirements for obtaining industrial licenses, addressed inquiries from the attendees, and offered direct practical consultations to help develop their industrial activities and overcome procedural obstacles. This commitment to providing direct assistance and covering every detail reflects the approach of the Directorate of Industry, represented by Mr. Al-Hassan, and translates into a genuine partnership with the Hama Chamber of Industry aimed at empowering women in the industrial sector.
The meeting’s impact extended further through the coordination of Public Relations Officer, Ms. Asala Najeeba, to implement plans and arrange a visit for the committee members to the Dual Education Secondary School for Girls' Clothing Industry. This initiative aims to integrate students' studies with the labor market and secure practical training for them within garment factories and sewing workshops. This will be supplemented by theoretical courses at the Training and Qualification Center at the Chamber’s headquarters, to apply the theoretical steps established since the beginning of the year, marking the foundational step for the committee’s core mission
