Launch of the First Syrian-Emirati Investment Forum in Damascus to Discuss Economic and Developmental Partnerships
The Syrian capital, Damascus, witnessed the launch of the "First Syrian-Emirati Investment Forum" with broad official and economic participation that brought together senior officials and investors from both countries. The event was attended by Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa, alongside a high-level Emirati delegation led by His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
Organized by the Syrian Investment Authority, this forum represents a completely new phase in bilateral economic relations. The forum’s sessions and workshops focused on exploring cooperation prospects and opening doors for investment and partnership in vital developmental and strategic sectors, most notably:

The forum witnessed a prominent presence of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and Syrian businessmen residing in the UAE. The event reviewed the new legal and legislative facilities encouraging investors, which include broad tax exemptions and full guarantees to protect capital, providing a fertile environment to restore recovery and advance the Syrian economy
