Liverpool chooses "goal of the contract" .. with Salah's feet
Salah's goal against Tottenham Hotspur, in the English Premier League, in 2018, came first in the vote for the title "goal of the contract."
The official website of Liverpool chose a goal from each of the past 10 years, competing for the title "goal of the contract" that went in favor of Salah.
The goal of the Egyptian star came in February 2018, after Salah received the ball on the right side of the penalty area, before he deceived 4 defenders with a smooth movement, and deposited the ball into the net, in an exciting match that ended in a 2-2 result in the English Premier League.
More than 40,000 people participated in the vote, with Salah aiming for the highest percentage of votes, beating Belgian Divoc Origi in Barcelona's goal last season, and German Emery Jan's goal against Watford with a knockout in 2017.
Salah's goal against Spurs has also surpassed impressive goals for Liverpool stars, including 3 for former team star Luis Suarez in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
