More than 200 scholarships offered by Hungary in various disciplines

The University of Damascus has announced more than 200 scholarships from the Hungarian government for Syrian students for the first undergraduate and postgraduate levels "Master and Doctorate" in various majors for the academic year 2020-2021.
 
In its announcement, the university indicated that the scholarships include a monthly salary of 130 euros for students applying to first-degree and master's scholarships and 450 euros for students applying for doctoral degrees, in addition to an exemption from registration fees and the provision of housing or a financial allowance for it while the student sponsors travel expenses.
 
On the mechanism of accepting students in these scholarships, the university stated that after completing the application of these scholarships, the Hungarian side will send the names of the total number of applicants to the University of Damascus to nominate the required number of them later and inform the relevant authority in Hungary accordingly.
 
According to the university announcement, the scholarships will be applied directly through the website designated by the Hungarian side until the fifteenth of next January, knowing that the site includes the documents required for registration, including a copy of the certificate obtained by the student and a list of marks for students applying for master's and doctoral degrees, in addition to a document of proof Language level B2, a copy of the passport, a health certificate proving that the student is free from communicable diseases and a motivation letter in which the student explains the reason for choosing the program offered. As for the doctorate, the student must submit a research work plan and letters of recommendation.
 
According to the data of the Directorate of International and Cultural Relations at the University of Damascus, 250 students were accepted into these scholarships last year
