The Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce participated in the Arab-Swiss Business Forum (TAJER) hosted by the city of Geneva yesterday, Monday, coinciding with the International Labour Conference. This comes as part of the Federation's efforts to enhance its presence in international economic forums and expand its network with Arab and European institutions. The Federation was represented at the forum by Mohammed Saeed Sheikhelkar, Vice President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, and Zein El Din Qathan, Secretary of the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce.The forum, organized by the Arab-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Union of Arab Chambers, focused on a range of current economic issues. Most notably, it addressed the impact of geopolitical crises on the business environment, the role of vocational education in developing the labor market, and the contribution of the private sector and the creative economy to shaping the jobs of the future amid the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technologies
