Singapore announces the first HIV infection

According to local media, quoting the Singaporean Ministry of Health, the ministry has uncovered a new strain of the Coronavirus, infected by a 66-year-old Chinese man, who came to Singapore from Wuhan, China, on January 20.
 
She confirmed that the Chinese came with his family to Singapore, noting that he felt pain in his throat during the flight, then his body temperature rose the next day, and he started coughing.
 
She stressed that the Singaporean authorities imposed a quarantine on the Chinese man, stressing that medical tests have proven that he is infected with a new strain of the Corona virus.
 
She added that the authorities launched a search procedure for people close to the Chinese man and the passengers who sat near him on the plane.
 
She explained that Singapore placed 37-year-old Chinese son under medical supervision on suspicion of contracting the same virus.
 
Earlier Tuesday, health experts at the University of "Hong Kong", warned of the spread of "mysterious" disease quickly in China, after it appeared in the province of "Hubei" in the center of the country.
 
The experts pointed out in a joint research with the World Health Organization, that there are 1343 cases of HIV infection in "Wuhan" in the province, and 116 in other Chinese cities, contrary to what was announced by the Chinese National Health Committee, that there are 291 cases throughout the country.
 
The Chinese authorities had announced the death of 17 people as a result of infection with "mysterious" disease in "Wuhan" in "Khubei" province.
