SMEDC Launches Preliminary Questionnaire for the First Syrian Entrepreneurs Competition
The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Commission (SMEDC) announced the start of preparations to launch the "First Syrian Entrepreneurs Competition." It has issued a public invitation to all entrepreneurs and owners of pioneering and innovative projects in the Syrian Arab Republic to register via a dedicated questionnaire link.
This questionnaire primarily aims to characterize entrepreneurial projects, study their needs, enhance effective communication, and link them with the commission and its various programs.
Objectives of Registering in the Questionnaire
Building an integrated database for entrepreneurial and innovative projects in Syria.
Enhancing continuous communication channels between entrepreneurs and the commission.
Providing opportunities to join the commission's future platforms and programs.
Supporting and developing projects by linking them to training, empowerment, and networking opportunities.
Information Confidentiality and Security
In an important note, the commission emphasized its full commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of the information provided in the questionnaire. It also stressed that all intellectual property rights, projects, and ideas submitted remain reserved for their owners and cannot be used or shared without the prior consent of the stakeholders.

Registration Deadline: Submissions close today, Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Registration Method: Participation is done by scanning the QR code found on the official announcement issued by the Directorate of Entrepreneurs at the commission
