The President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Alaa Al-Ali, emphasized the importance of strengthening economic relations between Syria and Egypt, and activating the memorandum of understanding signed with the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, highlighting the role of the Syrian-Egyptian Business Council in supporting bilateral cooperation.This took place during a virtual meeting that included: the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Egyptian Embassy in Damascus and Head of the Economic and Commercial Office, Fadel Yacoub; the Vice President of the Federation, Eng. Essam Al-Ghariwati; and the Head of the Foreign Relations Committee at the Federation, Dr. Anas Al-Bou, in addition to several businesspeople and officials.Participants discussed ways to develop economic relations, enhance the role of the private sector, participate in exhibitions, reactivate flights, address challenges hindering economic cooperation, and facilitate communication between the concerned authorities
