On the sidelines of the forum, a special meeting was held between the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Industry and the UAE Chambers of Commerce delegation (comprising representatives from the UAE Chambers, Dubai Chambers, Abu Dhabi Chamber, and Fujairah Chamber). The Syrian delegation highlighted the competitive advantages of Syria's investment environment, including attractive laws, skilled labor, and promising opportunities in food, pharmaceutical, textile, software, building materials, and petrochemical industries, alongside Syria's strategic geographical location. The talks also focused on food security and joint agro-investment projects.
In response, the Emirati delegation welcomed the Syrian proposals and called for providing a comprehensive investment guide backed by practical statistics to serve as a clear roadmap for investors. They also encouraged continued exchange of visits and participation in international exhibitions in the UAE to promote Syrian products and boost exports. The meeting concluded with an agreement to provide the UAE side with the required data, and an Emirati offer to host and train Syrian cadres on global working systems
