The Egyptian Super between Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the Emirates
The temporary committee of the Egyptian Football Association has approved the establishment of the Super Cup match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek teams in the United Arab Emirates.
The official website of the Egyptian Football Association mentioned the accreditation of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, which can seat 37 thousand spectators in the capital Abu Dhabi on Thursday, February 20, after the postponement of the summit match from the fourth round in the first round to February 24 instead of 19 thereof.
The statement added that "the match will be managed by a team of foreign referees who will be chosen by the Egyptian Referees Committee, with the application of VAR technology during the match."
Al-Ahly won the title of the last edition in Alexandria by defeating Zamalek 3-2, boosting its record 11th title against three for Zamalek.
