The Idlib Chamber of Commerce and Industry Meets to Discuss Business Environment Development and Address Sector Challenges
The Idlib Chamber of Commerce and Industry held its regular board of directors meeting, chaired by Mr. Alaa Al-Ali, President of the Idlib Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and attended by Mr. Muhammad Abdul Rahman, Governor of Idlib.
The meeting commenced with a review of the Chamber's key activities and achievements within the commercial and industrial sectors, alongside its ongoing role in supporting both fields and enhancing the local business environment. Furthermore, attendees discussed the current progress of the design competition for the Chamber's future building to be established in Idlib city, evaluating the procedures and next steps implemented for this project.
The board also addressed official letters and correspondence received from the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce directed to the Idlib Chamber. They formulated responses and reviewed interrelated cases and shared files between the Federation and the Idlib Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Additionally, the meeting explored the most prominent challenges facing the industrial and commercial sectors in Idlib province, notably issues tied to finance, customs, and supply management. The board emphasized the critical need to follow up on these matters and coordinate effectively with relevant authorities to address them, thereby contributing to the advancement of both sectors and improving the overall investment and business climate in the governorance
