A shark kills a man in Australia .. The body is still missing
The attack occurred when the man was diving near his boat on Cole Island, just off Esperance, after 1:00 p.m., and his body has not yet been found.
The Primary Industries Department confirmed the attack, saying that a man was mortally wounded after being whisked by a white shark. ”Police said a woman on board was treated for shock. IFrame
"The Esperance Police and Maritime Rescue Volunteers in Western Australia have deployed in the area aboard marine rescue ships. They are still searching in the ocean for the victim," an Australian police spokesman said.
This was the sixteenth fatal shark attack off the coast of Western Australia since 2000.
In April 2017, Leticia Brower, 17, died after a big white shark attacked her while she was surfing with her father off Esperance.
