Catering is preparing to distribute food via smart card
The Deputy Minister of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, Refaat Suleiman, confirmed that the first phase of the implementation of the distribution of food commodities through the smart card has been initiated, explaining that the program interfaces have been installed in the central administration in the ministry and in the Syrian Trade Organization to manage the work through smart card and that Takamol company distributed devices And train staff to use it.
Suleiman said that the smart card will be a tool used by the ministry to create competition in controlling prices and providing materials in the markets and can abandon this work when conditions return to normal and the availability of materials abundant and balanced prices, adding: “The ministry's goal is to find balance in the markets.”
