The analyzes of the samples of the General Organization for Drinking Water and Sewage in Damascus and its countryside showed that the sample of the well of the furnace well in Jadidat Al-Wadi is not valid for human consumption, and this well is not affiliated with the Water Corporation and does not enter the public network, but what entered the well as long as citizens received water from the public network in Achrafieh Al-Wadi (from Barada)!

He said: There is a failure from the Health Directorate in the countryside of Damascus regarding not taking samples from restaurants and green sellers in the area, considering that "parsley" and other foods and materials have not been examined.
For his part, the director of Damascus countryside health, Dr. Ayman Naanous revealed that the number of poisoning cases ranged between 250 and 300 "official" cases coming to health clinics of the state in addition to the private clinic, noting that the cases are acute bowel inflammation between light and medium.
Naousnous said: When we have this large number of cases, it cannot be caused by food, indicating that there are 7 samples rejected out of 10, so that solutions start from the water institution after they were placed by us in the form of the problem, so that drinking water is stopped and secured by tanks.
