The Lattakia Electricity Company announced that the electrical supply was disconnected from the Al-Shalafatiya diversion station due to the leakage of rain water into the station.
The company stated in a statement that as a result of the prevailing weather conditions and heavy rains, the electrical supply was disconnected from the Al-Shalafatiya diversion station due to the flooding of some equipment in the station, noting the areas affected by the cutting, namely: Al-Muzayri'a, Mazar Al-Qatari, Al-Khallala, Al-Shir, Video, Damioun, Jabrioun, Ain Al-Laban, Ruwaisa Qassem, Al-Rasteen, Al-Bahloula, Badamat, Al-Zoubar, Brabshabo, Al-Ruwaimi, Sheikh Reeh, Markhooh, Al-Jandariah Water Pumps, Al-Jandaria.
And with a personal follow-up from the Governor of Lattakia, Ibrahim Khader Al-Salem, the staff of the Electricity Company, the Energy Transportation Department, and the Lattakia Fire and Civil Defense Fire Brigade work on drainage and dewatering operations outside the station.
